"Every man on earth wants to be a better arm-wrestler" ~ Clayton Faulconer
Hey there, it's a miracle that I am here to tell my story and I am so thankful that you chose to come here. I survived multiple traumatic accidents over my life and I made a pledge that I will not give up until I am a champion again. If you are interested in also becoming a champion arm wrestler, you are in the right place.
My story goes like this; although I had been in two major accidents, by 2018 life was good. I had been inducted into the BC Arm Wrestling Hall of Fame, won the Canadian National Championship 9x's to date, and this is after I had survived two major accidents. Now, when I say "major", those included a head-on collision (1997), a severe collision with a manure spreader (2006) where I almost lost my right knee. Then in 2018, I was involved in a pedestrian vs. car accident — I was the pedestrian. In that accident, I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI); I was bleeding in the brain; I had multiple broken bones and I was placed in an induced coma for 10-days. I was a mess!
I decided, however, that I would come back... I will, again, be a champion arm wrestler. And you know what? I am on target to make that happen in 2022! I like to talk about what I can do, not what I cannot do.
I used everything I have learned and teach in AC to place second at the Canadian Championships in Winnipeg Manitoba in a weight class that was two weight classes higher than I have ever completed in the past — This was a mere 4-years after the life-changing event that should have ended it all for me! Please come along for the ride!! Read more about me...

Let's Talk Safety!
CAUTION: Broken Arms Are All Too Common
How common are broken arms in arm wrestling?
In a study conducted with 123 young soldiers who had humerus shaft fractures in 2020, it was reported that arm wrestling was the cause of the fracture in 65 (52.8%) of the cases.
Unfortunately with any physical activity, you do there is a risk of injury. The same goes with arm wrestling, the most common injury that I see is the break of the humerus bone. Picture taking a classic Lollypop stick and grabbing both ends with your fingers, twist one end one way and then twist the other end the opposite way, that's essentially what's happening to your arm as you arm wrestle it creates a spiral fracture. To minimize injury, you should train and learn the right techniques and proper position on the table when pulling.
A lot of inexperienced pullers tend to get into the “arm break” position as I described above, it's important to watch and learn and also take it slow. I recommend watching lots of footage online of the pros and if you are looking to pull, look for a team closest to you that's going to help and teach you the right way and always face your arm when arm wrestling. In a refereed match, the match will be stopped if you turn away from your arm and you do not face it when asked to.
